PARRAMATTA, NSW — 7 September 2026 — BOOKWELL was proud to attend the 36th Annual Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE) Golden Stars Gala Dinner & Ceremony last Friday, 4 September, at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta. The event brought together more than 600 business leaders, entrepreneurs, government representatives, industry professionals and community leaders to celebrate the achievements shaping Western Sydney.
Having been recognised as a 2026 WSABE finalist in the Parramatta Leagues Club Outstanding New Business (Start-Up) category, the evening was an important milestone for BOOKWELL and our entire team. While we did not take home the final award, being recognised among the outstanding businesses across Western Sydney is itself a meaningful achievement.
More importantly, the evening reminded us that building a company is never a journey taken alone. We are deeply grateful to our friends, mentors, investors, clients, partners and team members who joined us at the Gala and have supported BOOKWELL throughout our journey. Their encouragement, trust and belief in what we are building mean more to us than any trophy.
We would also like to sincerely thank WSABE, the local Western Sydney business community and the City of Parramatta for creating a platform where businesses, innovators and community leaders can connect, learn and grow together. WSABE has been celebrating business excellence across Western Sydney since 1990, and we are proud to be part of this community.
